To all,

Pictures of grips are presented here that were found on a Nazi proofed FN Mod 1922 early b block. Are the grips correct to this pistol? Are the grips genuine FN manufacture and of what time frame? Thanks for taking a look and your comments.

Yes, the black synthetic grips would be appropriate. According to Anthony Vanderlindens book,FN Browning Pistols. The wood grips were introduced in 1942 as a substitute for when the synthetic grips were not available, the synthetic grips were used throughout the war however. So either would be appropriate for your gun which would date to 1943.

Thanks for the information. My concern was the fine checkering and the thickness of the grips. The wood grips seem to be thinner.
