Just added this early "A" suffix to my collection. Fairly clean pistol in matching configuration with proper magazine that is waffenampt. No history or other accessories, however happy to add the A block.
These sure have been rising in value and Radom's, no longer the red headed step child when every one wanted a P38 or a luger.
A few pictures of the pistol and magazine.

Thank you, Jeff

I agree it’s a great example. I’d call it a mid a block but that’s just me. I don’t have all of the serial number ranges correlations to WaA marked mags committed to memory but I do know that at least the early a block say around 10,000a and many and many thousands before and after came from the factory with no eagle WaA marked mags. Like everything else collectors have worked for years to “correct” this factory practice so the gene pool is pretty messed up now! Radoms and Browning P35 have been a favorite of mine now for 50 years right behind the Luger.

I was wondering if the faint lettering on the slide normal to these pistols?

Yes indeed, this is typical as the slide markings was applied by different roll die machines with uneven wear on them.
