Recently bought an FN 1922 occupation pistol WaA140 that came with what appears to be a cut-down P-08 holster. The markings on the back are DLU and WaA641, and the year 194?. According to Claus Espeholt, it was made by Ewald Luneschlos in 1941. This firm made only P-08 holsters, according to Espeholt, and only in 1941.
The holster is cut down professionally - a very neat job. Even the mag. pouch fits the .32 mag., although the pistol rocks back and forth a little.
Was this an arsenal modification? Has anyone seen this sort of thing before?

I have seen foreign holsters cut down to FN1922's but can't say I have seen a P.08 holster cut down to a FN 1922. DLU's were started in 1940 and went through till 1944 and till 1945 for the P.38 holster. DLU made both P.08 and P.38 holsters.
