Can anyone measure their grip screws to give me the dimensions? In particular need the thread pitch
I cannot get this info today, but if you are not in too much of a hurry I can do it soon(-ish).

Hi, guys! This is my first post. I will try to fill in my profile and all that stuff later. I am not a collector, nor am I in to Lugers. I just happen to have an interest in the topic of this thread (old, but recently dug up by Fushigi).

I have a Franz Stock 7.65 in the earlier version (Model 1). It seems to have the original bakelite grips (and screws) with only one small chip out of the bottom edge of one of them, and it has the original magazine.

My issue is that it was ignored for probably 60 years and has some pretty dank, old crud in the striped assembly and down where the mag lock and safety switch engage the mechanism. I cannot remove the striker retainer screw or the safety spring retainer screw. I started boogering up the safety screw head because it was so dang tight. The main screw on the striker assembly is just as immovable. I decided to stop with both until I can find out a safe way to extract them.

My Stock suffers a FTF (fails to feed, not fire) or FTE malfunction every 3rd or 4th round fired. Also, it will occasionally fail to go fully into battery. I can figure all this out, but I am afraid to heat the end of the slide or striker assembly to pull the screws, and I am likewise afraid to lightly hammer down on the heads to break them free. Suggestions?

Here are pics of my 7.65 ?Model 1" which is apparently an early example based on the low serial number. It has the "Crown/N" proofs on the slide and the barrel and assembly bench marks of "96" in three places, too.

Bumping my request. Still need dimensions for the left grip screw. Not sure if what I have is stripped/damaged or not.

Threaded portion= 0.25"
Overall= 0.37"
Dia.= 0.10"

I cannot measure the pitch with my gauges so I took a photo. The minor tic marks are = 0.025"

Good luck!

BTW, this is from a 7.65mm model.
Yell if you need anything else.
