Here are two examples of French produced P38's. They followed the German serial numbers and slide codes. The first presentation is a rare SVW46 in the L block, the last production run of 500 made in France.
The second gun is a non import marked (pre 1968 import) French SVW45 with a matching mag.
These guns are becoming more valuable and sought after by collectors of P38's.
