Note: Since these pistols do not have multiple Ser. # markings, the way to determine if these are matching is by examining the assembler's numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel.

Hoba,
See Jan's Axis Pistols, page 94, re. Unique Kriegsmodell. For some reason, this pistol is not listed in the Table of Contents Kriegsmarine section. The kriegsmarine had an external hammer on their unique. The heer did not have an external hammer.
Kriegsmarine #s:
58000 - 63000 WaA251
63000 - 76000 WaAd20
Oh really? In my (old, 1986) issue no single word about it. Any evidence?

Probably the Unique Kriegsmodell is not included in the Kriegsmarine section of Still's Axis Pistols for the reason that there are no records that indicate that these pistols were part of a German Navy contract or allotment? Mayhap I have it wrong. Never could find a great deal of information on these pistols.

The above information is not from Axis Pistols. Perhaps someone mistook Kreigsmodel for Kreigsmarine or the information is from anothes reference. I do not know of any information to connect the Unique Kreigsmodel to the Kreigsmarine.

Mine is the 1989 "Third printing with update, copyright 1989".
States, " The Unique Kriegsmodell was a German Army improved modification of the Unique Model 17...German designation for this pistol was Die Selbstladepistole Unique Kriegsmodell".

My error. NOT kriegsmarine. Oops.
