Just added these two to post 19 as they match .

They must have been accepted into inventory slightly apart - look at the right wing top . Stamp deterioration is slightly different .

Post 22 shows the E2's on the others better but I cannot add them there ???

This same E2 is in posts 19,20,21,22,24,25,26 and 27

With his bowed left leg Pete called him " COWBOY E2 " and that is what he will be called here .

Still only going to fool a newbie as it matches no real one .

I like your post 43 as it is the same stamp as in posts 41 and 42 plus the others mentioned in post 41 .

Interesting to see the progression of wear .

I would assume some folks are chipping off some of the feather lines on the new stamps the eBay seller (fudosan) out of Poland sells from time to time... :rolleyes:

Adding the penguin [ mid ] E2

This guy is not real common but is for sure real . Gibson called it [ mid ] and we will also formally but I call it the " penguin " for obvious reasons .

​Some good E2's all from 1936 5543 . All early ones and die wear is present but still honest examples .
