Hello, if anyone could help me identify this holster it would be very much appreciated. A very sad luger came to me in it. On the retaining strap there is an inked marking that I best make out to be 389/Spa. 389 4476. Some kind of police identification?

When I collected W German police, I owned three. Two were issued to the Landes Polizei Niedersaschen (LPN) in the 366xxx and 392xxx ranges and one from the Hessen Landespolizei in the 376xxx range. Hi Power holsters for W German issue are similar design but thicker mag pouches. This holster has a thinner pouch for the Star B plus the serial.
