So here is an unorthodox approach to filling in some missing information on how the Swedes were looking at some of the pistol features in their trials early in the 1900s.

I am trying to figure out what loading tools they refer to in some of their period docs. Were there other German or Austrian pistol models (asides from the Luger) in that time frame that used a magazine loading tool? Was it always the same Luger design or were there early design variants (not markings)?

Does anybody have photos of such tools on the magazine as it should be used? I see plenty of tools but never on the mag...
I am trying to see how the tool connects with the mag...
Thanks
Anthony
