Hi Adam, It is a Velo Dog. Quite the marksman-ish pose. I wonder if he was able to hit the ground with it?
He must have been a third string latrene technician to have been issued such a pretigious pistol.

Hey Ron,
Are you sure that isn't a Pickert Revolver? How could a self respecting German soldier be caught and photographed with a Belgian Velo-dog revolver!! ;)) I have a Pickert (Arminius) in 6.35 that was a capture item!! and looks exactly the same....I know due to the size of the picture we are surmizing!!
