I´ve tried to answer your e-mails but my relpies have bounced - accompanied by the following MS:-

Is there something wrong with the mail address???

My email system works without any problem. May be that there was a temporary interruption at the freenet server.

Heinrich, this is definitely weird - conversing via the Luger Forum in USA, while we´re only a few miles apart. No, I´ve never had any problems with my mail setup. Maybe Freenet and Deutsche Telekom just don´t like each other. BTW. I´found that there is such a thing as an SMTP server - but still don´t know what it is. Is this the legand of the "Königskinder"??

Most people don't really want to kknow what an SMTP Server is, they just want it to work...

I am guessing that for whatever reason, your two ISP's are simply not communicating.

I will send Heinrich a test message and see what happens.

It was made BEFORE 1918, so is definitely not a repro. The Königskinder is an old German folk song, based on Greek legend. The essence is that even though they wanted to get together, they couldn´t (http://ingeb.org/Lieder/eswarenz.html)
Thanx for your help. My server tells me that it´s all due to competition between the two companies.
