the weapon the soldier is wearing. Could it be an Reichsrevolver or a Russian Nagant?

The revolver that the German Soldier is carrying is a Nagant revolver and most likely a Russian Nagant at that.

that's right!
The Nagant revolver was a "Beute" gun and officially used as an auxiliary gun in the German Army during WWII. It has the number 612 (r).
