[Jim Purnell]

I was hoping that someone might be able to assist me with an ID of this holster. My feelings are that it is WW2 German, and possibly for a revolver. This might not be the correct forum, but the knowledge base that I see posting on this forum is the reason I placed this query here. Here are some pictures and thanks in advance.
