The "leaf-bearskin" design beneath the closing strap of the holster shown above on the RIGHT, (another trade mark of "Albrecht Kind",..this same holster is shown in Whittingtons' book "German Pistols And Holsters 1934/1945 Military-Police-NSDAP", Volume 1, on page 197, "Holster for Mauser HSc, type II," also dated "1942" with a military acceptance stamp "WaA 938".

NOTE: August 1 2009.

Since this thread was posted in 2005 it is now thought that this HSc holster was manufactured by Lederfabrik Christof Neuner, An der Walk 6 in Klagenfurt, Austria, showing 1942, WaA938 acceptance, and leaf 9.

Hi drm2m,

just stumbled across your old thread and noticed the A. Fischer holster on your first image. This is interesting, because it is most likely no HSc holster, but a holster in which a Sauer H must have been kept for a while. See the “bump” on the mag pouch – this is typical for a Sauer H magazine.

If possible, I liked to see more photos of the holster, especially of the A. Fischer marking. Is it located on the rough side of the flap?

Regards

Hi David,

thanks for posting pics. Nice holster! Yes, it's for the Sauer model H.

Quiet unusual location for the eagle/B....
