hi there.Both of mine are in the 9000 range.One is H9288 and the other little higher can not remember at this moment,The sun mark has no significance. Just operatios process stage mark,

I'll be curious to see if it is on any other late war Steyr other than what appears as of right now on these 2/ H9xxx I checked all my Steyr late examples and none have it. Sometimes you hit gold and sometimes iron pyright.

hi there,If you refer to K block,phospate As,Bs,BNZ pistols ,I would speculate not,Gotta remember H block pistols were the last block produced at Radom factory.We still in the dark about famous ,ghost J block pistols,there is a theory that j block pistols were on their way to steyr factory(Znojmo) and got destroyed by russian bombardments.I dont suppose german brought along polish assemly dies with them,so mostlikely you you find the sun mark on H or earlier blocks assembled at Radom.IMHO.Regards Kris
