Very common in some areas; some shows in Arizona especially it seemed every other table had an Ortgies or three for most of the 00s'. Not a terrible little shooter for what it is, IMO, though not hugely valuable/collectible.

To be fair, aside from ammo cost they're well worth it IMO if your hand isn't huge - they're quite fun to plink with and point a bit like a cross between a smaller Remington 51 and a Colt 1903, IMO.

I have one! I finally found one that didn’t have a lot of corrosion and such. They are neat as you can actually take the fixed barrel out of the frame easily. No screws. Like a little clock inside.
