Hello,

I have a Luger passed on to me by my late Uncle....

I think it is in very good condition but know little about this type of gun other than what I've been reading here...

I fired it once about 10 years ago & know it works. All #'s match except the mag. Any idea on its value?

Thanks,

Chuck

Chuck welcome to the forum and by the looks of your pictures you have a very nice 1918 DWM luger. It has the 1920 weimar mark on the chamber so you know it stayed in Germany after the first world war and probably saw action in the second world war.

Your luger is considered a double date although the 1920 is not to mean 1920 production. Your luger was manufactured in 1918 and was an imperial army issued luger.

Very nice.

Welcome to the forum Chuck. If you can place photos here on this forum, that is the best thing, as the pictures stay as long as the posting stays.

It looks in nice hsape, if all matching, all original (not reblued), then it is worth around $800-$1000. If it is reblued, has pits, etc, then worth around $500.

Yes, photos can not have any spaces, or it could be because you have spaces in your user name. But right click and "rename" the picture to something like chucksP08a and try to post again.
