Picked up this rig yesterday, a very nice 1940 Tokarev TT-33 Rig, with two magazines, one of them is matching, and a nice german modified russian holster.
After opening the flap of the holster came the big surprise :D: the rank, name and field post number (F.P.N. 59725) of the previous owner are written on the inside.
The owner, a Feldwebel (Fw.), served in the Feldgendarmerie-Trupp (military police) of the famous Panzergrenadier-Division “Feldherrnhalle” = F.P.N. 59725.
The last digit of the handwritten Number is a "5", at first glance it looks like a "6". If this pistol could only talk.
A great start to the new year.
Any comments are welcome.
Best regards
Wolfgang

pcke2000 good observations about CCCP, looks to me grips not original to the gun they are different from each other, probably some one replaced original (grounded) to more attractive with star & CCCP. If owner of the gun serve in Feldwebel (Fw.), served in the Feldgendarmerie-Trupp (military police) of the famous Panzergrenadier-Division......no way he will keep star & CCCP on his gun.
