Picked up this rig yesterday, a very nice 1940 Tokarev TT-33 Rig, with two magazines, one of them is matching, and a nice german modified russian holster.
After opening the flap of the holster came the big surprise : the rank, name and field post number (F.P.N. 59725) of the previous owner are written on the inside.
The owner, a Feldwebel (Fw.), served in the Feldgendarmerie-Trupp (military police) of the famous Panzergrenadier-Division “Feldherrnhalle” = F.P.N. 59725.
The last digit of the handwritten Number is a "5", at first glance it looks like a "6". If this pistol could only talk.
A great start to the new year.
Any comments are welcome.
Best regards
Wolfgang
