I just bought a 1906 first issue altered navy-luger.

But when I push the grip-safety in, it will not come out again.
I have to pull it out manually.
I think there is a spring missing(???)..

The gun is matching except the magazine. It is not unit-marked.

Any suggestions??

The grip-safety is actuated by a small leaf spring that is pinned inside the rear grip strap. Specifically, it is located on the left side of the space between the mag well and the rear grip which houses the recoil spring.
