Hi all,
Everytime I read something about the Russian pistols like the TT-30 and TT-33, they always speak of the Korovin pistol. What is the story on the Korovin? Was it an issue pistol? What does it look like? Anybody have one? Any info would be helpful.
Thanks, Dean

From Ezell's Handguns of the World, Chapter 12:

S.A. Korovin, a small arms designer, produced the first Soviet-developed auto-loading pistol about 1920 in .32ACP. It was not adopted.

He also designed a .25ACP pistol, the TK or TOZ. It was produced in substantial numbers, and was apparently used by police and military officers. It was adopted in 1926.

You can get more from Ezell's book.

Hi,
Sergei KOROVINE lived and worked in Liège (Belgium) at the Manufacture d'Armes de l'Etat (the State Firearms Factory). He took 7 Belgian Patents for his pistol in 1911 and 1912.
