Congrats and welcome to HK land . Perfect first HK and if you ever look for another bring this one with .
They really do have hue's that are absolutely unique. I'm not the best photographer but here are the best I could get with my phone. Definitely looks better in real life. Especially since my fingerprints on the finish show up in a couple of the photos. Magazine is non matching (non HK) but I knew that going in.

Is the database of HK Lugers still out there being kept up to date anywhere? I realize many can be searched right on this posting, but having concise spreadsheet is nice too.

I for one think this would be a good thing .

I will help with comments if you like but I only want to compliment good - honest looking guns .
Not interested in pointing out the bad ones as they are too numerous .

There are plenty threads here for folks to look at to see bad ones .

The current " touching up good guns " bit is really sad as it turns good honest slightly worn guns into just another messed with one .

JMHO of course but as many can recall Pete E was really good at catching folks at it .
The old before and after pic thing .
I do not have one, but would be willing to maintain one if it existed.
