I just got Star proofed commercial #10601, very dark finish (Kenyon mentions this). Gun finish is similar to 10678. Came with two suspect fxo mags with correct gun number on.

Just sold on gunbroker for $2,782.00 .
S code 1098 .
Simson E6 sear and mauser mag .

Honest looking old war horse besides these issues .

Was modestly interested as I have an E2 marked sear and extra mag 1177 .
Couldn't justify the price so passed .

Compiled list of known Krieghoffs. Please fill in any missing info if you have first hand knowledge. Most of all I want to track condition as these guns will resurface in MINT condition and with 2 matched mags, so it's important that we get it right now! This will be extremely valuable in 10 years!!. Happy to report we just untied an orphan mag with the gun. One HAPPY forum member. If you would like to send me serials and/ or descriptions my email address is [email protected]
Thanks

Third Reich Lugers by Still P.268 has a top view pic of 1938 10059 .
Shown as " Don Hallock collection " .
Listed in Gibson's book also .

Read ad and they seem to have forgotten about GENUINE 1941 small dates on rarity .

1944 Dated HK 11633 on consignment at Simpsons .
$19,500.00 on your dial .

Recorded in Gibsons book .

I do not know how to save pics from Simpsons as they always show up on my PS as invalid .

Considering the price range the pics are pretty much useless anyway and the description is very short .

Thanks for the pics !
MANY things to look for on these late guns but the only thing you can really see is our old buddy " stork legs " on the mag bottom and the barrel proof looks blued .

Grips should be sub-par also on a late gun like this .

Pic is barrel markings on a 1943 .
Barrel proof [ all 4 of em ] and barrel gauge [ all 6 of em ] are thru the blue .
Nice neat job on serial and parts acceptance markings also

Musta been a monday morning for the E2 inspector !!

Legacy says that they're not sure if the numbering on the mag is original. I am sure that it's not original. Both photos they offer are angled shots that do not give a clear, direct facing picture of the numbers. If they did, it would be obvious that it's renumbered.
