Just found this board and want to post some pictures of my drilling. JP Sauer Serial #334596 manufactured in March 1941. I would rate the gun in 98% or better condition. It is chambered in 12x12x9,3x74R. I do not know of an earlier example of a Luft Drilling.
The case is painted brown, excellent condition with all felt intact. I was told this gun saw service in Africa.
It is complete with original manual, original Sauer test fire sheet dated April 1941 and serialed to the gun, original AKAH sling, original cleaning kit and components.
I am also considering selling this gun and am open to offers.

I would imagine anything would be a WAG, and not scientific at that. In other words, I doubt anyone has more than a guess, and it would be just a guess...
