I believe that I am correct when I say this, that all lugers since 1914 have had a stock lug and only the ones[ ? ] without are the uncommon ones.

Hello all. My 1937/S42 Luger has a lug (for shoulder stock ?) on the back of the grip. Is this a standard manufacturing procedure ? Or were only some Lugers fitted with this shoulder stock lug ?

IIRC, the directive to include the stock lug was issued in August, 1913. Some 1913 Lugers have the lug, others don't, depending upon when in that year they were made.quote:Originally posted by huggiebear
