This post may be slightly off topic, (by a year) but thought some might be interested.
This grip may be the only remaining piece of the 1899 Prototype serial number 14. Found in an English gunsmith's estate. I presume number 14 was part of the Swiss trials, then brought to England for their trials. Several other examples of the trial pistols still exist, but it appears number 14 was broken up for parts..... Or it may be sitting in a collection somewhere missing one grip!
