The pictures of your 1915 DWM Luger are sharp enough to declare that this pistol has been through an aggressive buffing process with an abrasive, and then finely polished and refinished. Sadly, this takes away all collector interest and 50% or more of value.

This Luger would be relegated to the Shooter category in most collections. But for that purpose of having fun at the range, it is fully desirable. So, if it passes a safety inspection, take it out and shoot it with some standard loads. If a part breaks, no big deal. You can replace the broken part without any risk of losing value to your gun.
