What's the going rate of an original luger holster & mag? I would like to eventually get an extra mag and holster for my 1913 dwm. Also what would be a correct holster\markings for the 1913 luger?

Thanks

All depends on what type you are looking for, plus condition.

Go to the dealers, Simpsons, ltd, go to Besslers site, check prices, go to ebay and do a search on new or completed items.

Buy Luger books, study this board, etc., as your question is actually a bit vauge because there are many combinations posible.

Thanks ed. I thought that maybe dwm had\used a specific manufacturer for there holsters. Perhaps any coded 1913 holster would do.

I best pick up a luger book especially if this luger I now own will not be my last.

Jr., holsters are tricky, fascinating, but tricky, as they had hundreds of makers, some big time makers, and many, many small makers. Plus all the years involved over time!

Very interesting, I went through a holster phase, bought like 6 or 7 in the same number of months (police holsters), and they are all just a bit different from each other.

Trying to make a rig correct or all matching can be a lot of fun as well as expensive.
About 1 1\2 years ago I had a guy offer me $275 for a common hard shell p38 holster.
Just keeping an eye on the "for sale" areas of the many forums online has yielded me two soft shell p38 holsters for under $100 each.

Then of course trading always works out ok.

Exciting, isn't it?

yes sir, it is. I have picked up a lot of my "collection" from friends and other collectors, by trading, by selling, and then buying... The hunt is fun, frustrating at times, but fun,
