I have recently acquired a basic issue 1939 dated Luger holster. The Waffenampt proof, I believe, is WaA 137; however, with the Luger holster showing use, the proof’s numbers are difficult to determine exactly. What is interesting are the stamped letters “K.W.K.” located where the maker’s name is usually stamped/placed on the leather. I would think this would be somewhat early for the three letter code issuance pertaining to the maker’s name and location? Should you have any thoughts or ideas, concerning the letters (K.W.K.) stamped on the back of the Luger holster, please let me know.
