Here are a couple of Luger holsters I acquired at the Reno Gun Show recently. I have a BYF 42 and a 37 S/42 that needed holsters and these two were priced right and in pretty good shape.

I would say that if one was in need of two luger holsters, these were very good examples to acquire, and in particular, the 1938 variation.

John,

Thanks for the nice remarks about my recvently acquired Luger holsters--coming from you that means a lot! You have some of the most beautiful high grade holsters I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing those with us. Keep doing it as I for one and I am sure most on this forum enjoy seeing your beautiful collection pieces--both pistols and leather.

Best, Lloyd in Vegas

* And educational insight!! My continuing thanks to you for your outstanding presentations!!

Lloyd,
* Very nice finds. Leather is a marvelous investment & an excellent compliment to collectible Lugers. Appreciate your sharing these with us.
* The Mfg. code "cey", for those wishing an I.D., is Karl Budischowsky u. Soehne, Osterreichische Lederindustrie, Wien(Vienna), Austria per Jan Still's, Third Reich Lugers..., Pg. 112. The Waffen acceptance is typically WaA47 for late 1940 & 1941 for this supplier.

Hi Lloyd,

Well...I tried to refrain myself for a week or so...but I have to ask :

Did you find these beautiful holsters at the past Reno show last weekend ? If you did, how they heck did the rest of us miss them...?

Were they under-the-table items ?

Nice buys !
