·My Fatherbrought back a 9mm Luger back from Germany after WWll. This luger #6696t has all matching #'s. The bottom of the barrel has a crown over N, below that, the Ser# and below the Ser# is a cursive L. The left side of the reciever is th Ser#, and next to it is the crown over N. On the right side of the reciever, there appears to be a bird with open wings, and under the bird are the letters..WIA63...or68 as best as I can make out. The mag has the Ser# with a 3 over it. The backstrap has the lug on it. And the front strap has L.Sta.147. stamped on it. I took off the grips and found that the Left one was marked EO Then there is a stamp that has 653 with a crest above it which looks like a bird with sraight lines for wings. Any help would be a great asset to me.
