Hi Jan
Waffenfabrink Steyr S.N.6591 Wn/E/9
I think I posted photos of this Roth Steyr 07, holster, and stripper clips/ammo in a post you had made on 9/30/03. I looked around and could not find the photos and know there was some mention of pictures that had disappeared in the past. The right grip disc is un marked.
If you need any more info. just let me know.
Thanks again

Mr. Still,

The Roth Steyr above is mine. Just like to add that there is a W-n Austrian Eagle "9".

Thanks,

Hi Jan,

My 1907 Roth is a Fegyvergyar S/N 1960, Wn Eagle 11, black plastic grips with SHD.7. over 53. on the disc. Any idea what SHD.7. is? This may be knit picking, but shouldn't the eagle be referred to as AH (Austro-Hungarian) instead of Austrian?

Hi Jan,

Another one on the April 2005 Hermann Historica auction web site. Looks liek you have this one recorded, already, but the ad and photos might provide more info.

Here is the ad's text :

" calibre 8 mm Steyr, no. 48161. Bore in good condition. Matching numbers, the barrel without number. Made by the Steyr Arms Factory. Landwehr acceptance mark "Lw-Dpla-12". Original bluing, with light wear marks at the left front. Small parts tempered yellow. Brown wooden grip panels, the stamp plate marked "U. SCHENEK"at the right side. Comes with the original dark-brown holster, altered for wear on sword belt, stamped "Lw..." and others under the flap, as well as one of the very rare loading stripes in as new condition, with five original cartridges from 1910 and five from 1914. A beautiful, complete Landwehr set. "
