I have acquired a Mauser 1910/34 6.35 mm pistol SN 411XXX. On the left side of the slide above and in front of the serrations it has stamped these numbers:
3099 37
Just below the 37 and in front of the serrations is a symbol that looks something like
I&I
I have attempted to insert a image of a sketch of the symbol below.
I think it may be Austrian commercial proof but cannot find a reference for it.
If anyone can identify these markings I would appreciate hearing from them.
