Hi,

What would be the date of manufacture of a Mauser Model 1914 with serial number 356794. I know this is post-WWI, but isit possible to give a more accurated estimative?

Thanks in advance,

Douglas.

Don,

It´s Douglas again! Would you have an estimate for the manufacture year to a Mauser 1914 serial number 223683. According to the previous information, I would guess something around 1921-22. Is it correct?

Thanks in advance!

Douglas.

Don,

Even so your information was very useful! Thank you!

This particular gun was captured during the Italy Campaign in 1944-45, concerning the information I could research about it. As per the written statement made by the Veteran´s Association I have, this Mauser was been used by a Luftwaffe trooper - it even has a brown leather military holster.

Wishes,

Douglas.

Don,
I recently aquired SN 65418. It is imperial property marked. Could you give me the year of manufacture?

Thanks,
Adam

OK, I can't resist. I have two 1914s, both with a Germany stamp, so from what I have heard, they were made for export to the US. One has a serial number 342528, and the other is 379623. Can you give me an idea when they were manufactured?

Thanks

Looking for the manufacturing date of a Model 1914 Mauser, serial #261925. It also has the Weimar "1920" above the side legend. It is police unit marked on the front grip strap, that was subsequently Xed out, but still readable.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don,
Try a few more?

68737 - "Germany" export marked.
107179 - Imperial "bug" proofed.
159608 - Imperial "bug" proofed with the markings "L.F. 389." on the front strap. Magazine is serialed to the pistol, marked "159608" on the bottom left side and "389 1" on its base.
262393 - Marked "1920" left side of slide.

Last one is a M1934.
