MAUSER 1934, SERIAL NUMBER 553000, KRIEGSMARINE, VARIATION 3

Mauser 1934's with an N.xxx property number on the front grip strap and a Kriegsmarine E/M(5) on the right frame have been termed Variation 3, by collectors. These Kriegsmarine eagles and property numbers were pantographed by Navy armories and depots. About 6000 were procured by the Navy. They are found in the 546390 to 601459 serial range and N 2067 to N 8202 property range. (Axis Pistols, page 165-169)
