Paul,
That is a nice Kriegsmarine marked 34! Without the serial no. it's hard to tell anymore. You didn't happen to get a KM marked holster with it did you? ;).I'm sure some of our KM specialists will jump in here.

...Now I am blown away...I have 2 bids on it...so far $538. What the heck is this thing worth? Can anyone give me any ideas?

Thanks so much for the information

Myrlin,

This looks to be a first variation KM marked Mauser 1934, what is the property number on the grip strap? Is the mag numbered?

The serial number is a bit high for a first variation (mine is in the 550,000 range), can you get any close ups of the KM marking for us?

Mark

Hi Mark and everyone else. The property numbers on the front strap is an N followed by 4 numbers. The pistol is at the shop tonite but I will take pix tomorrow and post them together with the exact numbers following the "N". The Magazine is numbered with the last 3 numbers of the serial number "136"
Are these the KM markings?

Myrlin,

I have never hard of a Navy marked 1934 with the serial number of the gun marked on the mag. It should have an N property number, the same as the grip strap. A few photos would help.

Strange. Shouldn't serial number 616136 fall into variation IV without a property number according to Still's "Axis Pistols" page 172? My rig is serial number 613782 and is KM marked without property number.
