* Mauser BYF 41, s.n.2063 Ku

Hello all
Here are a few photos of Mauser 41 BYF s.n. 2063Ku.
Finish is salt blue.
Barrel,Safety lever and safty bar all have the 42 spare parts code.
The missmatched black plastic magazine base is serialized 2892 with the large size numerials for a later pistol. In looking in
the book "The Krieghoff Parabellum" by Mr. Randal Gibson on page 131 he states "The black plastic variety does not have any marks with the exception of a cross below the serial number".
Does the cross below the serial number denote the spare magazine or should they all have the cross?

Ed...... I would think the + would indicate the spare mag. Thanks for the show and tell. I have a 41 byf 1622 Ku.

Second shot (if this working) shows the S/42.

This would suggest to me that the barrel was left over from 1935 (G-Date) production.

Last shot is of the 42 military holster that it came in. The stamp is Ku over a box that has K.A. 5 in it. I know some of you have seen
this in Automag but I thought I'd throw in up for any thoughts or
comments.
