I just bought a Mauser HSc. The serial # is 910 960, yes there is a space and it is at thee bottom of the front strap. It has the Nazi Eagle Symbol vertical on the trigger guard web on the right side, and the the same horizontally with WaA135 on the left trigger guard web on the left.
The left hand side of the slide has the Mauser Logo and Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf a. N. Mod. HSc KaL 7,65 mm. The pistol looks all original but doesn't have any other markings. Any help on history and/or value would be greatly appreciated.

You have a fairly late Army procured Mauser HSc, produced in 1944. Nazi production began at 700,001 and ended at approximately 952,000. The three components of the pistol (frame, barrel and slide) should have matching serial numbers. The barrel should be stamped with 960, and the same number should be electropenciled under the muzzle of the slide.
Value would depend greatly on condition, as well as if the pistol came with a marked holster and extra magazine.
If you could post photos, collectors on this forum could give you a good estimate of value.

adler,
Thanks for the info. It did come with a holster(no marks)but no spare mag. I will look for the other numbers and try to post photos. I would rate the finish at 95%+.

Yes, the #960 is electropenciled under the muzzle of the slide and stamped on the bottom of the barrel breech. It also has the Nazi Eagle stamped on the right side of the barrel breech.
