gun#1; 1916 dwm, s/n 1022. has only mag #2 with matching #'s.tool stamped with straight wing eagle over "63". proofs-- crown over gothic "H" ,crown over"S", crown over"S", crown over raised wing eagle. holster--l estelmam over(obliterated), and #15, the holster is very fragile.the gun had 0 finish 0 straw & 50% bore. i had it professionally reconditioned. gun #2--1917 dwm all#'s except mag. no tool. proofs--crown overgothic "T" and the others same as gun #1.again, a total rat smooth bore, 0 finish & straw scattered minor pitting. i had it sleeved and professionally restored. the holster--large P08 E GLECNER Gmb, BAUTZEN, 1941, straight wing eagle over swastika & WaA170. comments/critique welcomed (i probably ruined them but they sure are pretty!). --john--

hello runner; i would love to post photos, i have a nice canon S1 is, the pc, printer etc. however i am just learning how to use the equiptment. as soon as i am comfortable with the various systems i'll post photos. meanwhile, picture in your minds eye a brand new P08 with 100% straw,all piting erased, all numbers intact, grip panels like new, and a l9ovely rust blue job(rust blue is a very time cinsuming process, be prepared$$$). mitch can match the orig. finish pretty closely with hot blue, but it's not as durable as the rust blue finish. look him up in google yellow pages. --john--

I am curious about the relining of the barrel. Did you have that done in .30 Luger or 9mm? How well does it shoot after the relining?

hello macpuma; the sleeve was done in 9mm. the gun funcctions perfectly. accuracy?? honestly, i am a lousey shot but i get most of them on the paper, i have to have one of the good shots at the club try it. -john--
