I acquired this gun a few years back in a trade.

It is in quite good shape for it's age. I think that it is most likely pre WWII.

Excellent photographs and presentation of a gun that is a work of art. What are the calibers?
Jan
Jan, calibers are 16 short over 8x57 Mauser Rimmed.
Doug, that is an outstanding example of a fine Drilling. The gunmaker's craft at it's best.
Just found out how to read the date code. This gun was made November 1937.
