I picked this Mauser C96 Broomhandle up today.
its a 1930's commercial, 80% finish, NO RUST or PITTING, all numbers
match, Not the origional stock but a Chinese clone, The bore is spotless clean and shiney!!. The former owners took very good care
of this Mauser and properly cleaned it and oiled it..even the insides are spotless with no pitting..
Im now looking for a origional un numbered late 30's stock..

As i understand ALL C96's are exempt from NFA rules reguarding detachable sholder stocks, is it because of their classification as
an antque firearm ??
