At a recent gun show I examined a 1902 Aerican Eagle Luger that had a narrow grip safety on it, typical of such on earlier model 1900's. Have never seen that before. Dwight Gruber also saw this piece and raised the same question. The serial number was in the middle of the 1902 range. Any thoughts or comments on this observation?
