Years ago, someone showed a DWM 1918 Army luger, the pistol was complete matching and with 95% blue remaining.
He had the gun picked up at the battle field in january 1945 when this earia was liberated.
Unfortunatly he shot the gun with original German ammo and not cleaned the bore afterwards, so the bore looked like a sewer pipe.
In the holster was the Navy luger magazine as spare !!!
I couldn't persuade him to sell me the complete rig but he allowed me to change the magazine for a modern one.
The serialnumber is 5859 and it has the "Marine Abname" M
If someone has the Navy with this serialnumber I would trade it for another (original !!) Navy magazine. shipping costs would be for the lucky owner of the complete matching Navy !!

By the way, the Luger in the pictures is not the one mentioned above.
I bought this Army DWM 1917 a few weeks ago on a gunshow in Kassel Germany. It is all matching 8327, except the magazine that carries no number at all, 95% blue with excellent bore
