My guess would be that the 167 (?) is actually a police property marking, I have seen ones like it more often on police guns, but that is because I have NO navy guns or real experience on them.
Ed...... I would sure call that an educated guess. I don't know much about police guns but do have a few navies and have never seen anything like that on navy mags or guns. I would drink to the "167" being part of it's police "tour". Thanks...........
