Tom Armstrong, Leo Lavallee and I are compiling all NOS.and UNIT marks on our database. One day when we all have the time a nice reference book will appear. If any of you have 1904, 06, 08, 14 era NAVY guns and would like to contribute your nos please do so.
I have about 450 pieces so far and I am sharing them with author Jeff Noll who did the first book on Reg. Markings from WK 1.
We are still looking for another consecutive numbered pair of any variation. I seem to have the luck of the draw with the only pair ever seen or recorded.
Thanks for your help in advance. Again, I encourage all of you that are interested in Navy Lugers to attend the NAPCA meeting in August in Chattanooga, Tn.
