I moved to an old PC while mine is down, first thing I did was buy Symantec (Macafee is good too), System Works, it will run and delete, quarrantine, and fix any virus problems.

I can't stand not having this protection. Use XP and their SP2 service pack, it has a built in strong firewall. (other free firewalls work well too). Too many idiots out there trying to screw us up with viruses, and spyware....

As a MAC user, I seem to be altogether immune. Although I´ve received mail from unknown individuals who assert that I sent them infected e-mails. I´ve never even heard of any MAC user catcing a virus. None of us seem to use anti-virus software.

Patrick,
Have to agree on the use of the Mac. About a year ago a computer tech accused me of sending virus infected e-mails to one of his customers. In the past I had sent e-mails to to his customer as he is also a gun collector, but during the time that I was accused of sending virus infected e-mails, I was in the process of changing out my old Mac for a new one and was off line at the time. I could never convince the tech that the virus infected e-mail was not sent by me, and that it was the virus going into a PC and using the address book and my e-mail address to send out infected e-mails. When the virus was going around, it was not unusual for me to get a dozen returned e-mails identified as having a virus, but none of the addresses were known to me.
Like you, I have never had a virus.

John,
Do the serrations on the thumb piece look like the tool in the attached photo? This tool is a reproduction with apparently no motive to deceive as I don't believe any original tools came with the serrations, and this one has a smooth blue finish with no markings.
