Need help with chinese contract C-96

Hey guys, fellow collector selling this Mauser, what you would advice me in regards to the value, how much I should offer him to be fair etc.

I guess I'm in the wrong category. Admin pls move to:

is it mismatched ? the boil looks different from the frame from what i could make out. look closely at the bolt stop .make sure its not bent
yes bolt # differs from frame #
These Chinese guns do not work well. Mismatched parts not fitted or timed right lead to a lot of jams. The bores are usually poor. I worked on a lot of these in the ‘70. Gun prices are crazy today so i think it would sell for 800.00 at a gun show to someone who can not afford the 2300 plus for a matched number one.

I moved this, I think I moved it to the right place.
I always wanted one of the chinese 'mausers' in 45 acp :)

Importers could not keep them as is, for money reason. That's unfortunate. Most c96 from China were well used. No one collected guns in China, all guns were used as tools, including some factory engraved ones were worn.
C96 appeared in numerous old Chinese photos. Numerous.
