Someone asked for me to post pictures of my mint 1930 Sauer. I think it was Martin (Sauerfan). The reason the pictures look funny is because I didn't wipe all the oil off!!! and....I take lousey pictures!!! This pistol came with a beautiful holster and a spare mag. The color is off quite a bit also...it is actually very dark.

Dave,

congratulations for your Sauer 1930 !! Are you willing to tell us the serial number? Any unusual features, like a Krupp Nirosta barrel or the like? Is this your "My wife said I don't need it" pistol?

;)

the holster looks brand new! Any maker and/or acceptance markings? From the photo it seems, it has a "bump" on the lower portion of the mag pocket, what would be typical for a Sauer 38 holster .. any traces of a Sauer 38-H?

Regards

Martin

Yes Martin, this is one of those my wife said I "definitely didn't need". I thought the holster was for a 38H also, but that pistol does not fit!! The holster is police marked so I figure maybe a "Behorden Model" should actually be in it. I am also paranoid about giving out complete serial numbers although I do it on occasion. This one is 1884xx. I once had a problem with someone saying the gun was stolen when it was on my permit. He was mistaken but it caused me a lot of grief. I haven't taken it apart so I can't tell you anything about the barrel.
