Hello! I need help in costing my fathers Luger. He has aquired it thru a family member and has the original military war booty release papers with it. I can provide pics which can come later. I can tell you a little starting information. The markings are as follows, S-42 with all matching parts numbers except for the magazine and its spare. Bluing is about 95% with no stawing on the breakdown parts. The holster is in good shape and the bore looks good. The handles are in good shape with no cracks. I don't know much about firearms so I would apreciate any ballpark information.

Mark,
The magic words are ...pictures, pictures, pictures!!! It is very hard to place a value based on someones description. It sounds like a nice Mauser Luger with a rig. Please provide pics if possible!!!
