The Ost See Fleet did not mark their magazines like the Nord See fleet did , only the grip strap was marked with the Ost See Fleet number so Yes, is your answer as to whether or not the magazines of Nord See Fleet were to be all marked in addition to the rear grip strap. I have observed nothing to state that it was otherwise.

The way I understand the question is this. Yes, all North Sea 1938 dates will have a - N - property number on the pistol and magazine. You will never find a - O - property number on a WW-11 Luger magazine, only on the pistol. Unless of course, it was created by WaAUSA. My opinion only.
